Windows 10 End of Support

As of October 14th 2025 Microsoft ended mainstream support for its Windows 10 Operating System.  Unfortunately, this means tens of million PC users who are still running windows 10 will no longer receive updates from Microsoft fixing security issues.  PCs still running Windows 10 after the deadline will be subject to potential security loop holes allowing hackers and scammers access to their systems and data.

It is highly recommended and in some cases required by regulation, that any Windows 10 PCs be upgraded to Windows 11.  PCs that don't meet the minimum hardware requirements should be replaced.

The good news is Microsoft is allowing users with qualified PCs to upgrade to Windows 11 for free.  Microsoft has made available a free tool that will check to see if your PC meets the requirements to run Windows 11.  That tool can be download here:
